PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structured document editing method which seamlessly integrates the structured document processing having a user interface, which performs documentation while confirming an output image and flexibly sets various support functions based on requirements peculiar to a system, and other application processings and has less maintenance man-hour and realizes user interface constitution using standards and to obtain a recording medium where a processing program for this method is recorded. SOLUTION: Each information is read in from a hot spot sheet where contents of a structured document to be displayed, specific element designation information, and operation contents information to specific elements are described, and a style data information table to be used for display of contents of the structured document is generated on the basis of a standard style sheet, and the structured document is displayed on the basis of the style data information table, and the display position of a specific element on the display picture is detected on the basis of specific information, operation information, and the style data information table, and the display position, specific information, and operation information are registered in a hot spot data table correspondingly to the specific element, and the editing operation processing for the structured document displayed on the display picture is performed on the basis of this hot spor data table. |
