PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving and low-cost push rotary switch. SOLUTION: A plurality of fixed contact pieces 10 are implanted in a base, a movable contact circuit for rotary switching making contact with the fixed contact pieces 10 is formed on a printed circuit board 9 placed on the base, a rotary shaft 3 linked to the printed circuit board 9 is put through a housing 1 forming a switch body, and the housing 1 is fitted into the base. By turning the rotary shaft 3 interlocking with the printed circuit board 9, switching between circuits takes place, and thus this switch acts as a rotary switch. A hollow part is axially bored in the rotary shaft 3, a depressing shaft 6 is provided therein in a vertically movable manner, a contact circuit for push-button switching is formed on a back surface of the surface of the printed circuit board 9 where the movable contact circuit for rotary switching is formed, the contact circuit for push-button switching is connected to the movable contact circuit for rotary switching, a curved movable contact piece 3 is placed on the contact circuit for push-button switching, and the contact circuit for push- button switching is closed by depressingly operating the depressing shaft 6.
