PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the organic electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of attaining high performance and high life and high reliability each in high levels and especially superior in image reproducibility and abrasion resistance, and charge stability. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is obtained by successively forming at least a charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer on a conductive substrate and this charge transfer layer is characterized by the fact that it comprises at least a polymer charge transfer material and the charge transfer layer contains at least one kind of compound selected from phthalate ester, fatty acid ester, aliphatic dibasic acid ester, divalent alcohol ester, oxy acid ester, and aromatic carboxylic acid ester.
