OPTICAL FIBER BUNDLE OF ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the optical fiber bundle of the endoscope which never has its facing tube fallen from its ferrule tube even when an autoclave process is performed and also has superior durability. SOLUTION: The optical fiber bundle of the endoscope is formed by tightening and fixing an end part of the flexible facing tube 23 armoring a bundle of optical fibers to the ferrule pipe 22 fixed onto an end part of a bundle of optical fibers; and the tightened part is fixed with an instant adhesive and its external surface is coated with a heat-resistive adhesive 25 which does not deteriorate at least below 120 deg.C.
