PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation device capable of quickly retrieving a target place. SOLUTION: The superimposed display of a predetermined reduction scale map and grid lines is scrolled and displayed until the target place is included in a display screen at the time of retrieving the target place by a display control means 27. When the display screen including the target place is attained by the display control means, an area including the displayed target place is selected by a grid area surrounded by the grid lines displayed in the display screen by an area selection means 28 and a map inside the selected grid area is enlarged and displayed by an enlarged display means 29. Thus, the target place is included in the enlarged and displayed map and the target place is easily retrieved at a high speed. |
