PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain noise resistance, miniaturization and cost reduction by disposing electrical boards which control an image forming device, on the first recording unit side. SOLUTION: Among electrical boards, an operation control board E4 with keys for an operation panel and an LED mounted thereon is disposed above a reading system from the viewpoint of operability. Other electrical boards, that is, a system control board E1 for controlling the system of the whole device, a printer control board E2 for controlling mainly a recording system, a network control board E3 for controlling mainly lines and communications and a power source unit E5 for supplying power to the device are all disposed below a first recording unit A. This makes it possible to shorten cables and the like for connection, to improve assemblage efficiency and also to miniaturize the device. Further, because no electrical parts are situated below a second recording unit B, damage to electrical parts can be prevented even in case of an ink leak, etc.
