PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically store a relatively small quantity of vitrified wastes. SOLUTION: Housing tubes 21 are mutually stowed at regular intervals in a concrete cask 20 that can be carried freely so as to accommodate vitrified wastes 6 by vertically stacking them in many layers respectively, a suction port 22 for introducing the cooling air is formed in the bottom of the concrete cask 20 and an exhaust port 23 for exhausting the heated air after cooling is also provided in the top of it. Even if the quantity of the vitrified wastes 6 is relatively small, consequently, they can be stored economically by cooling them efficiently.
