PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide DSRC (narrow area communication) on-vehicle equipment for preventing an IC card from being inserted on the outside of a heat resistant temperature range and avoiding the thermal deformation and low temperature damage of the IC card. SOLUTION: This DSRC on-vehicle equipment is provided with a communication control part for performing narrow area communication with on-road equipment 1, an IC card housing part 9, a contact part 10 connected to the electrode part D of the IC card C, an on-vehicle equipment controller for reading and writing data from/to the IC card, a circuit board 8 for constituting the IC card housing part, temperature sensors 11 and 12 disposed near the IC card housing part, a temperature judgment means for judging whether or not temperature information is within the heat resistant temperature range of the IC card and alarming means 6 and 7 for issuing an alarm in the case of deviating from the heat resistant temperature range. |
