PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-optical recording medium arranged so as capable of accurately reading out the address information and recorded data as the main information along with efficiently recording the address information. SOLUTION: A magneto-optical disk 100 is a recording medium of so-called DWDD system, thereby the main data are recordable with high density. The address data showing the position on the magneto-optical disk 100 are preliminarily recorded by arranging land tracks or groove tracks to the snaky way, whereon the main data are recorded, in accordance with the address data. In this case, the frequency of the track in the snaky way for recording the address data is set so as to belong to the frequency band lower than the recording frequency band of the main data.
