PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save labor of selection of control signal transmission and voice transmission by using speech recognition. SOLUTION: An A/D converter 14 converts an output of a microphone 10 into a digital signal. The A/D converter 14 gives its output to a speech recognition circuit 18 or a voice signal processing circuit 22 through a switch 16. The speech recognition circuit 18 and a command signal generating circuit 20 generates a command signal corresponding to a received voice. A transmitter- receiver 28 transmits a voice signal from the voice signal processing circuit 22 or control signal from the circuit 20 to a communication opposite party through an antenna 30. The transmitter-receiver 28 controls the switch 16 according to the control signal received from the communication opposite party.
