PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize the outline of photographed contents even at a spot away from a photographing place by relatively simple constitution. SOLUTION: Still images and time code data corresponding to the still images are fetched to a fetching memory 18 in response to the operation of a fetching button 15 from video signals obtained by picking up images and the fetched still images and time code data are transmitted to a required spot through a portable telephone set. In such a manner, since a part of video signals obtained by picking up the images is fetched as the still image and transmitted through a telephone line, the outline of the photographed contents is immediately recognized at the spot away from a photographing spot.
