<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely prevent an earphone cap from falling from its housing by inserting a rod body projected from the housing into a cylindrical fall stop part provided to the housing engagement part of the earphone cap and thus stopping the fall. SOLUTION: The support part 14 of the earphone cap 11 has a fall stop flange 17 inside the side plate 20 of the housing 3 by engaging the base part 16 of a fall stop member 15 with an engagement hole 19 and is prevented from falling from the engagement hole 19. Further, a prismatic fall stop part 23 is fitted to the rod type projection 25 and pressed against a substrate block. The support part 14 is securely stopped from falling in the housing 3 by the fall stop flange 17 and prismatic fall stop part 23. The earphone cap 11 is therefore securely prevented from falling from the portable communication equipment with the structural force of the rod type projection 25 penetrating a prismatic hole 24 in addition to the engaging force based upon the elasticity of a rubber material as the raw material of the fall stop member 15.</p> |
