<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an echo generator to efficiently generate a pseudo echo by transmitting radar signals by taking frequency modulation and timing into consideration at the time of causing the generator to generate the pseudo echo to a chirp radar. SOLUTION: An echo generator for chirp radar is provided with a waveform storing circuit 1 which stores part of radar signals, a signal processing section 2 which detects the frequency variation of the stored radar signal per unit time, and a waveform reproducing circuit 3 which reproduces the stored radar signal as an echo signal by controlling the stored waveform so that the pulse width of the waveform may become the same as that of the radar signals based on the value detected by means of the signal processing section 2.</p> |
