<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault recovery device for a communication path where an efficient operation of a standby path bridged over layers and high speed fault recovery processing are made compatible especially in a communication network that is hierarchically structured with a multiplexed communication path structure with respect to the fault recovery device for the communication path. SOLUTION: The fault recovery device for a communication path in a communication network with a hierarchical structure where communication paths are multiplexed comprises a communication path fault reception section 21 that detects a fault path on the basis of network collection information, a communication path recovery object selection section 22 that selects a communication layer and a communication path on the layer for applying dynamically fault recovery processing to the faulty path on the basis of a result of discriminating the information relating to the faulty path by a prescribed evaluation function and a communication path recovery processing section 23 that uses the communication path on the selected communication layer so as to conduct the fault recovery processing of the faulty path.</p> |
