<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical axis adjusting device capable of properly and manually adjusting an optical axis without causing unexpected deviation of the optical axis. SOLUTION: In a stepping motor 2, a magnetic rotor 17 is rotated by energizing an exciting coil 16, and an output shaft 7 threadedly engaged with the magnetic rotor 17 is moved in its axial direction in accordance with its rotation. The amount of the movement of the output shaft 7 is controlled by a controller 30 to automatically control the optical axis of a headlight. The output shaft 7 is rotated by manually operating a movable bearing 12 placed at the rear end part of the output shaft 7 with the exciting coil 16 excited by the controller 30 to control the optical axis of the headlight. Thereby, the optical axis is manually controlled while excellently keeping a relative position between the output shaft 7 and the magnetic rotor 17.</p> |
