摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrate a liquid crystal panel with a polarizing plate without deterioration in the polarizing plate and to improve the contrast of a liquid crystal display device by applying a heat radiating film on the face of an active matrix substrate, which does not face a counter substrate and avoiding air between the heat radiating film and the polarizing plate. SOLUTION: On the surface of one of substrates 11 of the liquid crystal panel, pixel electrodes 13 connected to thin film transistors TFT 12 are formed into a matrix to form an active matrix circuit. A heat radiating film 14 is formed on the other surface of the substrate 11, and a polarizing plate 15 is adhered to the heat radiating film 14. Thereby, even when heat is generated in the polarizing plate 15 due to absorbed light even in a black display device, the heat is rapidly diffused by the heat radiating film 14, to prevent temp. increase of the polarizing plate 15. Thus, changes or deterioration in the characteristics of TFT 12 by the heat are prevented. By avoiding air between the substrate 11 and the polarizing plate 15, the quantity of light reflected by the polarizing plate 11 to return to the substrate 11 can be decreased.</p>
