PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of a processing engine such as a digital signal processor. SOLUTION: The processing engine includes an execution unit for executing a machine readable instruction to be dispatched and an instruction buffer 502 for temporarily storing plural transferred machine readable instructions. The execution unit starts the repeated execution of a machine readable instruction block including initial and final instructions in response to a 1st machine readable instruction. |
