PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful information to a consumer for planning his effective shopping by using a portable terminal to automatically receive and store a commodity information and sales information sent from each store and also using a means with which the consumer retrieves those information. SOLUTION: An information terminal 1 is installed at each of stores 3a-3c, and the information on the commodities which are handled at the stores 3a-3c and the sales information on these commodities are transmitted by radio to the information distribution areas 4a-4c included in a fixed range set around every terminal 1. Meanwhile, the portable terminal of a consumer automatically receives and stores both commodity and sales information when the consumer enters the areas 4a-4c. A means is independently prepared for the consumer to retrieve those information. In such a constitution, the consumer can refer to and retrieve the information for deciding effectively his/her shopping plan. |
