PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniform illumination of an automobile indicator light. SOLUTION: This automobile indicator light is equipped with a light source 10, an optical plate 20 having optical configurations 21 to make light generated from the region of the light source 10 linear so as to transmit the light in an average direction in parallel with a parallel optical axis (x), and a light flux dispersing and collecting cup 30 placed between the light source 10 and the optical plate 20 to disperse the light as designated in at least one designated direction throughout the inside surface of the optical plate 20. The optical plate 20 has the optical configurations having the same heights and widths and having different transmission coefficients, and the cup 30 disperses as designated the light both horizontally and vertically so as to obtain constant illumination at the outlet of the plate, in consideration of the different transmission coefficients. This method is adaptable to an automobile indicator light. |
