PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save evaporation liquid, and at the same time to perform heat exchange by a high evaporation heat exchange rate. SOLUTION: This heat exchange device is equipped with a dry indirect contact heat exchange part 16 that has a fluid circuit 22 for operation where fluid for operation is supplied and air inlet and outlet sides, a second indirect contact heat exchange part 28, a fluid connection channel 60 for operation that connects the fluid circuits for operation of both heat exchange parts, an operation fluid outlet channel 14, a fluid flow control device 72 for selectively switching the fluid flow for operation from both the heat exchange parts to the fluid outlet for operation and a distribution device for selectively spraying evaporation liquid onto the second indirect contact heat exchanger part, thus extracting heat from the fluid for operation.
