PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the attachment and blending of a planographic printing material applying a silver complex salt diffusion transfer process to a plate cylinder and to obtain a planographic printing plate excellent in suitability to an automatic printing machine and in the scuffing resistance of the printing surface. SOLUTION: The planographic printing material has at least a rear coat layer on the substrate. The rear coat layer comprises two or more layers, the top layer contains a matting agent having 0.1-2.5 μm size and a lower layer contains the matting agent having a larger size of 1-10 μm than the matting agent in the top layer. The surface roughness Ra of the rear coat layer is 0.1-1.0.
