<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively execute switching by setting the processing state of an audio signal to 'line output' or 'headphone output' on the basis of the communication state of a remote controlling communication terminal. SOLUTION: Whether response data are transmitted from a remote control device 140 to a communication port 111 in judged. When it is judged that communication with the device 140 is possible, the output selection menu for an audio signal output terminal 121 is not displayed. Then the output state of the terminal 121 is set to 'headphone'. When it is judged that communication with the device 140 is impossible, a system controller 110 judges an output setting state obtained just before turning the mode of the device to a standby mode. When the judged setting state is 'line output', the output state of the terminal 121 is set up to the 'line output'.</p> |
