ABSOLUTE POSITION TRANSDUCER HAVING NON-BINARY CODE TRUCK TYPE SCALE AND ABSOLUTE POSITION DETERMINING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an absolute position transducer corresponding to kinds of extensive uses including a use requested a very long measuring range and a low electric power use. SOLUTION: An absolute position transducer 100 comprises a reading head 102 and a scale member 104, where the head 102 and scale member 104 are movable each other along a measurement axis 106. The transducer 100 also includes a dense-wavelength transducer 210 and a code truck transducer 230. The code truck transducer 230 creates an analog rough-wavelength by computing a phase difference between a phase angle of the dense-wavelength transducer 210 and a dense-wavelength output of the code transducer 230. Also, it creates a non-binary code.
