PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain comparatively accurate reception timing without the need for increasing power consumption even in the case that a clock signal with low frequency precision is used for a timer for a period when no signal is received. SOLUTION: A frequency deviation estimate circuit 10 uses a fast speed system clock with high precision for a signal receiving period to detect a frequency deviation Δf of a clock signal for a clock and a τ estimate circuit 51 of a CPU 50 obtains a timing correction amount τ on the basis of the result of detection. Then a timing correction circuit 40 corrects reception timing that is obtained by a timer 30 by using the clock signal for clock for a signal non- reception period on the basis of the timing correction amount τ and the mobile radio terminal starts the reception for the signal reception period in the corrected reception timing. |
