PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase detecting device for improving the measurement accuracy of a phase by finding a frequency deviation while adopting only the phase component of an input signal having a sufficiently large amplitude. SOLUTION: An averaging part 6 calculates the average value of all amplitude data by reading plural pieces of amplitude data, which are stored at the synchronizing detection timing, out of an amplitude data memory 4 and adding these data and further outputs 1/2 value of that average value to a discrimination part 7 as the discrimination value data of a reference for discriminating the level of respective amplitude data stored in the amplitude data memory 4. The decision part 7 temporarily holds the decision value data inputted from the average processing part 6, one piece of amplitude data and one piece of phase data read out of a phase data memory 5 in a built-in register, successively reads the phase data, which are stored at the synchronizing detection timing, out of the phase data memory 5 in the order of storage and decides whether the amplitude data in the same storage order inputted from the average processing part 6 exceed the decision value level or not and when the relevant amplitude data exceed the decision value level, the relevant phase data are outputted to a frequency deviation detector 8. |
