PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer capable of detecting and reporting various reaction abnormalities, capable of improving the reliability of an analysis, and preventing the waste of a sample and a reagent and the reduction of analysis efficiency. SOLUTION: This automatic analyzer is provided with dispensing means 13, 17 dispensing reagents corresponding to a sample to be measured or measurement items to a reaction container 1, a photometric means 5 measuring the reaction process of a liquid in the reaction container 1 in time series, a calculating means 23 calculating the measurement result based on the photometric value by the photometric means 5 and calculating the photometric value change in a specific time series range, a judging means 24 comparing the photometric value change with the change rate of the reference reaction data to judge whether the photometric value change is abnormal or not, and a reporting means 25 reporting an abnormality based on the judgment result by the judging means 24.
