PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain discontinuous address transfer by newly prefetching data and transferring data of a DMA-transferred divided area by DMA if the data of the DMA-transferred divided area is not prefetched yet. SOLUTION: An information processor 2 performs initialization so that a 1st entry of a data prefetch table 40 is indicated. Then a data prefetch pointer 41 is increased to prefetch data of a next 2nd entry and then a data current pointer 42 is increased to transfers the data of the divided area stored in the 2nd entry to a magnetic storage device 6 by DMA according to respective data regarding the divided area. At this time, if the data of the DMA-transferred divided area is not prefetched yet, an interruption is reported to the firmware in an input/output controller 4 and the data is newly prefetched to transfer the data of the divided area to the magnetic storage device 6 by DMA.
