摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for defective part detection of electrophotographic photoreceptors capable of selecting only the electrophotographic photoreceptor with which dielectric breakdown never occurs in spite of the stress of the electric energy applied thereon in the electrophotographic process with an actual image forming device. SOLUTION: The impressed voltage above the impressed voltage of the electrophotographic image forming device is impressed on the electrophotographic photoreceptor to be inspected via a conductive electrostatic charge brush 2 contacting with the photoreceptor in the method for defective part detection of the electrophotographic photoreceptor used in the electrophotographic image forming device which executes image formation. As a result, only the electrophotographic photoreceptor with which the dielectric breakdown does not occur in spite of the stress of the electric energy applied thereon in the electrophotographic process with the actual image forming device may be selected. In addition, the conductive electrostatic brush member is used as an electrostatic charge member, by which the electrophotographic photoreceptor free of the dielectric breakdown as compared with the inspection method by a roller of silicone rubber and polyurethane rubber adopted heretofore may be obtained.
