PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely reset network equipment installed at a distant place in the case of hang-up. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 outputs an operating pulse during the operation thereof and an 'Ethernet(R)' controller 2 outputs a special packet reception signal when a special packet is inputted from the other network equipment. When the operating pulse is not inputted from the CPU 1 within a prescribed term T and the special packet reception signal is inputted from the 'Ethernet(R)' controller 2, a reset discriminating circuit 3 resets respective parts. |
