PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a current flowing through two transistors(TRs) even when a common current source is connected to emitters of the two TRs and the current source is interrupted. SOLUTION: In this amplifier, TRs Q1, Q2 are differentially in operation, emitters of the TRs Q1, Q2 are connected in common and a current source TR Q4 and PNP TRs Q8 and Q9, are provided. As a result, since a voltage VIN of a battery does not exceed a voltage that is a sum voltage of breakdown voltages of the TRs Q9, Q2, even when a current flowing to the TR Q4 is interrupted, current flowing from an input terminal IN to an output terminal OUT can be prevented.
