PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a two-dimensional automatic recognition symbol with which a ternary can easily be displayed. SOLUTION: A digit area is made to correspond to each digit of a ternary, and the value of each ternary digit is represented by a combination of colors applied to 1st and 2nd areas 10a and 10b constituting each digit area 10. In the ternary, the value of each digit takes any among '0', '1' and '2'. In the case of representing the value '0', 'white' is applied to the 1st area 10a, and 'white' is applied to the 2nd area 10b. In the case of representing '1' in the same manner, 'black' is applied to the area 10a and 'white' is applied to the area 10b. In the case of representing '2', 'white' is applied to the area 10a and 'black' is applied to the area 10b. Because a pattern, in which 'black' is applied to both the areas 10a and 10b, is not used, when this pattern is detected, it can be judged that an error has occurred. Thus, it is possible to obtain automatic recognition symbols capable of easily displaying a ternary. |
