PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storage medium that the operability of a display means displaying contents of the data stored in a data storage means is satisfactory and to provide a driving method. SOLUTION: Relating to a memory card 56, a liquid crystal display element 10 whose display surface is constituted by using liquid crystal having a memory property is stuck to the surface of a casing 57 in which a flash memory is incorporated. Thus, the liquid crystal display element 10 is also initialized as the flash memory is initialized and, then, when picture data are stored in the flash memory, the thumbnail picture of the picture data is displayed on the display element 10. |
