PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage type PWM inverter device which compensates the output voltage simply and accurately, without needing development, etc., of an exclusive microcomputer. SOLUTION: In a voltage type PWM inverter device which alternately turns on and off the switching elements of upper and lower arms constituting an inverter circuit, a pulse width measuring circuit 31 which receives the input of pulse signals to show the condition of each phase of output voltage and measures the pulse width of this pulse signal, and a simplified dead time correction circuit 3 which compensates the dead time error by the correction between the pulse width measured by the pulse width measuring circuit 31 and the pulse width of a reference PWM pattern, are provided. A general pulse width measuring circuit for a microcomputer is used for the pulse width measuring circuit 31. |
