PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent irregularities in a transfer image from being caused even when the rate of dot in printing data is changed. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with an optical unit 3 forming an electrostatic latent image on the surface of a photoreceptor drum 1 by irradiating the drum 1 with light based on the printing data, a developing device 4 developing the electrostatic latent image to a visible image by sticking toner to the surface of the drum 1, and a transfer device 5 provided with a transfer carrying belt 23 and a motor 25 driving the belt 23 and transferring the visible image developed with the toner on the surface of the drum 1 to recording paper P while carrying the paper P by the belt 23. Then, the device 1 is equipped with a CPU 31 calculating the rate of the printing dot in a specified area on the paper P and controlling the motor 25 based on the calculated rate of the printing dot, whereby the carrying speed of the paper P by the belt 23 is varied. |
