<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and stably produce the toner exhibiting excellent image characteristics even under a normal temp. normal humidity and a high humidity and high temp. environment by eliminating image defects caused by the remaining of a hardly water soluble metallic compound used as a dispersing agent or an unreacted polymerizable monomer in the production of a polymer ized toner. SOLUTION: In the producing method of the toner, the toner particle is obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer composition containing at least a polymerizable monomer and a coloring agent in a water based dispersion medium to form colored polymer particles, cleaning and dehydrating in a vacuum filter device and dispersing the resultant wet state colored polymer particles into a granular state in a high speed hot air stream to dry them while sending with the hot air in parallel.</p> |
