PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation efficiency of an automatic transaction device by restoring the automatic transaction device in a short time from a remote location in the case that an automatic transaction device control part stops an operation for some reasons. SOLUTION: This controller is a device for performing forced restart control to the automatic transaction device control part 2 on the basis of a command code by tone signals from the telephone set 8 of a monitoring center in the case that the automatic transaction device control part 2 stops the operation for some reasons and is provided with a line control part 12 connected to a communication channel 5 for performing communication with an opposite party for detecting the command code from the opposite party telephone set 8 sent through the communication channel 5 and a restart control part 11 for performing the forced restart control on the basis of the command code detected by the line control part 12.
