PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezer medium-cooling device for a compressor in which the freezer medium accumulated in a closed container of the compressor is taken out of the device and after it is cooled; the medium is returned back into the closed container. SOLUTION: A freezer medium outlet 1a is arranged at a lower part of a closed container. A freezer medium suction port 6a is arranged at an outlet 5b of an accumulator 5. A freezer medium pipe 8 is connected between the freezer medium outlet 1c and the freezer medium suction port 6a. A part of the freezer medium pipe 8 is wound in a helical form around a groove 9 arranged at an outer circumference of a cylindrical part 5a of the accumulator 5. Accordingly, the freezer medium flowed in the freezer pipe is heat exchanged with liquid medium accumulated in the accumulator 5 to perform an efficient cooling of the freezer medium, and at the same time the liquid medium accumulated in the accumulator 5 can be gasified.
