PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photographic element containing a dispersion of a useful coupler containing a small number of crystals, having stability to crystal formation in production and having high reactivity with an oxidized color developing agent for forming a dye by incorporating a phenolic cyan dye forming NB coupler, a specified high boiling point solvent and a specified stabilizer. SOLUTION: The photographic element includes at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer having a phenolic cyan dye forming NB coupler, a high boiling point solvent of formula I and a stabilizer of formula II. In the formula I, R3 and R4 are each an alkyl or aryl and G is an alkyl (including cycloalkyl and aralkyl) containing a bonding group. In the formula II, each Y is a substituent, (m) is 0-4, each T is a substituent and (p) is 0-4.
