PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make securable a long effective irradiation distance of strobe light in a pseudo variable power photographing mode by providing a condensing means switched to a 2nd position where a photographing viewing angle corresponding to a partial area in a photographic image plane is irradiated with the strobe light. SOLUTION: When the pseudo variable power photographing mode is selected, a condensing plate 50 functioning as a condensing means is inserted before a strobe light emitting part 18. The plate 50 is movably supported by two guide bars 54 and 55 between a retreat position and a set position, and energized toward the set position by springs 56 and 57. When a controller turns on the supply of power to an electromagnet 51, the attraction of the electromagnet 51 with a driving lever 58 is released and the lever 58 is energized by a spring 61 and rotated to a driving position, then a locking lever 59 is rotated to a holding release position. A catch 66 is retreated from the fixing plate 65, and the plate 50 iS energized by the springs 56 and 57 and moved toward the set position. When the plate 50 is inserted, the photographing viewing angle corresponding to the partial area in the photographic image plane is irradiated with the strobe light. |
