<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress gradation in communication quality by assigning a reception path in a proper timing so as to effectively utilize fingers thereby reducing frequency of execution of synchronization processing. SOLUTION: A control section 8 uses an assignment frequency setting means 8a to set a time constant of a frequency for received path selection for the decision of an assigned period of the reception path depending on magnitude of signal power of the assigned reception path to fingers 4-1-4-3 in a prescribed timing with respect to each of the fingers 4-1-4-3. Then the control section 8 uses a reception path assignment means 8b to assign a new reception path to each of the fingers 4-1-4-3 in response to the lapse of the assignment period depending on the time constant set by the assignment frequency setting means 8a from a point of time when the reception path is precedingly assigned.</p> |
