摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a device which obtains an image close to a natural one without a feeling of incompatibility at a boundary part of the image by variable controlling an exposure time to a light receiving element included in an area every arbitrary area on a light receiving surface of an image pickup sensor. SOLUTION: In an exposure operation part 12, a luminance signal which is obtained from an output of an image pickup sensor 8 is compared with a reference signal and an exposure control signal in accordance with a luminance of a subject is generated. In a sensor timing control circuit 15, the exposure time and a reading time with respect to each light receiving element of the image pickup sensor 8 are controlled according to an instruction of the exposure operation part 12. A shutter driver 14 controls opening and closing of a mechanical shutter 6 according to the instruction of the exposure operation part 12. A diaphragm driver 13 controls an opening diameter of a diaphragm 5 according to a specified quantity of diaphragm which is set by the exposure operation part 12. The exposure operation part 12 and a sensor timing control circuit 15 constitute an exposure time control means and in the exposure operation part, the exposure time regarding the light receiving element is variable controlled every arbitrary area of a light receiving surface of the image pickup sensor 8.
