PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless telephone set, provided with an application type paging function to adjust to a condition, so that a user can find out effectively where a handset left forgotten by the user is. SOLUTION: This cordless handset 105 includes a base unit 107 which includes a paging mechanism and a handset 109 including an alarm mechanism responding to the paging mechanism. At least either the unit 107 or the handset 109 includes a page adjustment mechanism for affecting an alarm signal outputted from the alarm mechanism 113 on the basis of a condition. A paging signal is adjusted so as to increase opportunities for finding the handset left and forgotten by a user. In another example, the telephone set 105 is configured so that the unit 107 can offer display related to the distance between the unit 107 and the handset 109. Furthermore, yet in another example, the telephone set 105 is configured so that the paging mechanism can be adjusted on the basis of user control. |
