PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce the thickness and size of a keyboard instrument, to smoothly open and close fallboards and to improve operability by providing the device with a front fallboard and a rear fallboard which slides backward on a musical instrument body cooperatively with backward turning of supporting members and opens the rear part of a playing section. SOLUTION: The front fallboard 11 opens the front part of the playing section 9 by turning backward together with the supporting arms 10. Simultaneously therewith, the rear fallboard 12 slides backward on an operation panel 4 and a rear surface panel 5 by accompanying turning of the front fallboard 11 and opens the rear part of the playing section 9. The playing section 9 is opened by the turning of the front fallboard 11 and the sliding of the rear fallboard 12 in the manner described above and, therefore, the need for a space for stowage of the front and rear fallboards 11 and 12 in an organ body 3 is eliminated. As a result, the depth of the electronic organ is reduced and the thickness thereof is reduced. In addition, the smooth opening and closing of the front and rear fallboards 11 and 12 is made possible and the operability may be improved. |
