PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability even in the case of disposing such as a power source switch on a side face adjacent to another equipment in an image forming device providing between plural comprising equipments. SOLUTION: This image forming device is, caused to provide a main power source switch 30 on a left side surface part on a copying machine main body unit 20, to notch a position corresponding to a main power source switch 30 on the discharge paper unit 27, and to make an open part 38 in an extent that a user or an operator is permitted to make the on/off operation of the switch by the tip of a finger. When the units 20 and 27 are combined so as not to leave even a gap between adjacent units 20 and 27, the operation of the main power source switch 30 is not disturbed, and the case of erroneously turning off being attributable to inconvenience for seeing, is minimized.
