PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film unit with lens being suitable for a photographing action executed in a room and at night. SOLUTION: In the film unit with a lens, a diaphragm value A by a diaphragm plate 41, the shutter speed T of a shutter device and the ISO sensitivity S of a photographic film 26b are decided so as to satisfy the condition of -6<=2 log2(A)+log2(1/T)-log2(0.3.S)<=4. Besides, the guide number of a stroboscope device is decided to be 1 to 8 and the light distribution characteristic thereof is adjusted so as to become equal to or over 60% of the quantity of stroboscopic light at the center of the photographic picture frame in the case that the angle of the photographic picture frame in the vertical direction is (1.5θ) when the viewing angle of the photographic picture frame in the vertical direction is defined as (2θ). Thus, even when the photographing action is executed in a dark place such as the inside of the room, a printed photograph that a main subject and a background are properly expressed can be produced.
