PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to intuitively grasp characteristics in an optimizing process and to reduce evaluation by replacing characteristics to be controlled which are obtained with control parameters in the optimizing process with a representing body and displaying it to the user. SOLUTION: In an optimizing process by a fuel injection control part, fuel calculation is carried out for all solid bodies of a 1st generation consisting of initial solid bodies. According to the cost of fuel of the respective solid bodies obtained by the fuel calculating process, whether optimum fuel cost characteristics are obtained is evaluated to judge whether or not optimum fuel cost is obtained. In an optimizing process by an electronic throttle control part, initial values of control parameters of a control module to be optimized are determined at random within a predetermined range to generate the 1st generation consisting of initial solid bodies. Total characteristics obtained by a combination of throttle characteristics based upon the parameters of the respective solid bodies are converted to a fish image simulating identifiable fishes and the fish image is displayed as assistance information for evaluation on a characteristic display device. |
