摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sticking of an optical sheet to the lower face of a display panel and to prevent increase in the thickness of a liquid crystal display device or display failures, due to scratches in the optical sheet by specifying the coefft. of dynamic friction of one principal plane of the display panel to be smaller than the coefft. of dynamic friction of the one principal plane of the optical sheet, facing the one principal plane of the display panel and specifying the surface roughness of the display panel. SOLUTION: The coefft. of dynamic friction of one principal plane of the display panel 1 is controlled to be smaller than the coefft. of dynamic friction of one principal plane of the optical sheet facing the principal plane of the display panel 1. The polarizing film 11 in the lower face side of a transparent insulating substrate 13 of the display panel 1 consists of a coating layer of resin particles 111, a polarizing film body 112 and an adhesive layer 113. The resin particles are spherical particles, having uniform particle size of about 2 to 10 μm, preferably 3 to 5 μm. The surface roughness of the coated surface of the panel is controlled to be 0.1 mm or larger, more preferably 0.15 mm or larger.
