PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aluminum printing plate using a silver complex salt diffusion transfer method so as to stably obtain high printing durability by incorporating a polymer having specified functional groups into a layer containing physical developing nuclei. SOLUTION: This lithographic printing plate has physical developing nuclei between an aluminum supporting body which is roughened and anodically oxidized and a silver halide emulsion layer. In this plate, a polymer containing functional groups expressed by the formulae is incorporated into between the aluminum supporting body and the silver halide emulsion layer. In the formulae, R3 is a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, phenyl group, amino group or amidino group, and R4 is a hydrogen atom or amino group. The mol.wt. of the polymer to be incorporated is preferably in the range of >=5,000 and <=1×106 as the weight average mol.wt. The polymer having the mol.wt. over the aforementioned rate is not preferable because its soln. viscosity increases to make a coating process difficult. If the mol.wt. is less than the above range, it is not preferable because of decrease in the printing durability. |
