PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding mechanism for operation buttons, having simple structure, capable of being mounted on a case body, and enabling its manufacturing cost to be reduced. SOLUTION: Opening 10a are formed in an operation surface of a front panel 10, an operation button 19 is provided that is inserted into the opening 10a from the under side and positioned by a flange 19b, a fixing member 14 is provided for fixing the flange 19b of the operation button 19 to an under surface of the front panel 10 by supporting an elastic body that urges the flange 19b from the under side, a thin elastic sheet 16 is provided extending between the fixing member 14 and the elastic body, and the elastic sheet 16 is disposed so as to extend from an end of the fixing member 14. An operation button 18 having a flange 18b different in thickness from the flange 19b and situated around the fixing member 14 is supported and urged toward the front panel 10 by the extending elastic sheet 16, and thus switches 12 mounted on a circuit board 11 are adapted to be turned on/off.
