<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hot water boiler having an improved heat exchange efficiency. SOLUTION: This hot water boiler is equipped with a burner 1 for combustion, a first heat exchanger 15 having a hollow cylindrical peripheral wall forming a combustion chamber 2 above the burner 1, a second heat exchanger 16 disposed in the inner upper part of the first heat exchanger 15 and having a cylindrical peripheral wall and a cylindrical heat exchange member 16a which has a peripheral surface and a closed upper end face forming a prescribed gap between the second heat exchanger 16 and the peripheral wall thereof and is so fitted inside the second heat exchanger 16 as to introduce combustion gas from the combustion chamber 2. The combustion gas rising in the combustion chamber 2 is introduced through an opening of the lower end face of the heat exchange member 16a to heat the inside of this member so as to make it conduct heat exchange with a heat exchange medium, while a cylindrical guide part 16b extending downward from the fitting part of the heat exchange member 16a and guiding the combustion gas to rise into the heat exchange member 16a is provided in the lower part of the peripheral wall of the second heat exchanger 16.</p> |
